  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (diced into 1-inch pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for coating air fryer basket
  • Green onions (thinly sliced, optional for garnishing)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, olive oil, light brown sugar, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add diced chicken to the marinade, stir to coat, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 6-8 hours.
  3. Coat the air fryer basket with 1 teaspoon olive oil or cooking spray.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 385F if required. Cook at 380-390F for best results.
  5. Add chicken to the air fryer in a single layer and discard excess marinade.
