Description

  • 1 cup of butter, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of almond flour
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and almond extracts and mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and almond flour to the butter mixture. Mix thoroughly to form a slightly crumbly dough.
  4. Take generous tablespoons of dough, roll each into a small ball, and shape into a crescent. Place them onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake the cookies for 15 to 20 minutes or until they turn a light golden brown around the edges.
  6. Allow the cookies to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack. Dust each cookie with powdered sugar before serving.
