Description

These Easy Homemade Granola Bars are no-bake, chewy, and packed with peanut butter and chocolate chips for a delicious snack or breakfast on the go.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 1/2 cups Old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup Shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup Mini chocolate chips (or any other add-ins of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup Melted chocolate (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and honey. Heat in the microwave in 20-second increments until the peanut butter has fully melted. Stir the mixture until it becomes smooth and well combined.
  2. Add the rolled oats and shredded coconut to the melted peanut butter and honey mixture. Stir thoroughly until all the dry ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Stir in the mini chocolate chips or your preferred add-ins, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Pour the granola mixture into an 8×8 inch square pan lined with wax paper. Spread the mixture evenly.
  5. Use your hands or the flat bottom of a measuring cup to press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan, compacting it tightly.
  6. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or foil, then refrigerate overnight or until the granola mixture firms up completely.
  7. Remove the chilled granola from the pan and use a sharp knife to cut it into 10 bars.
  8. If desired, drizzle each bar with melted chocolate. Let the chocolate set and harden before serving.
