Description

This creamy Boursin baked salmon is tender, flaky, and topped with a rich garlic-herb Boursin cheese layer that melts into the fish as it bakes. Effortless, elegant, and full of savory flavor, it’s the perfect gourmet-style dinner for weeknights or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (56 oz / 140170 g each)
  • 1 (5.2 oz / 150 g) package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Use Boursin Shallot & Chive, Black Truffle, or Caramelized Onion
  • Swap salmon with cod, halibut, or trout
  • Add spinach or tomato slices underneath
  • Mix in lemon zest for extra brightness
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat
  • Use ghee instead of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment. Pat salmon dry, brush with olive oil, drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a bowl, mix Boursin cheese with minced garlic and a pinch of paprika (and lemon zest if using) until smooth.
  3. Place salmon in the dish and spread the Boursin mixture generously over each fillet.
  4. Bake 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily and the topping is creamy and lightly golden.
  5. Let rest 3 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
