- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If not already done, cook and shred the chicken.
- Prepare the rice per package instructions and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cooked rice, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- If you like a crunchy topping, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle it over the casserole.
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and the top is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
