Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- Cream the butter in a stand mixer until light and fluffy—about 2 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and mix for another 30 seconds.
- Combine the flour and powdered sugar gradually, mixing on medium speed until your dough comes together into a soft mass.
- Shape the dough into a large ball using your hands.
- Roll the dough into balls approximately 1.5 to 2 inches in size. Place them evenly spaced on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Press a gentle well into the center of each dough ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with the cherry pie filling.
- Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring until silky smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the tops of the cookies using a piping bag.
