Celebrate the festive season with these Easy Christmas Tree Brownies, a fun and simple dessert perfect for holiday gatherings.

- 1 box Brownie Mix (serves about 12 brownies)
- 1 tub white vanilla icing (about 16 oz)
- Green food colouring (quantity enough to tint icing)
- Small round sprinkles (to taste)
- Small star sprinkles (12 stars, one for each brownie)
- Candy canes (6 to 8, unwrapped and cut into approx 1.5″ pieces)
Instructions
- Line an 8″ x 8″ baking pan with aluminum foil, covering all sides and spray with cooking spray.
- Prepare the brownie mix as per package directions, pour into the pan, and bake. Allow to cool for 1.5 hours.
- Lift brownies out using the foil edges and cut into triangles.
- Unwrap and cut candy canes into 1.5-inch pieces for the trunks.
- Press the sharp end of a candy cane piece into the base of each brownie triangle.
- Spoon half of the icing into a bowl and tint with green food colouring.
- Transfer green icing to a zip-lock bag, snip off a corner, and pipe zigzag icing on each brownie to mimic tree branches.
- Sprinkle with round sprinkles and top each tree with a star sprinkle.
- Arrange on a platter and serve.
Notes
- Ensure brownies are completely cooled before cutting.
- Use various colors of sprinkles for a more festive look.
