Description
This Cinnamon Brown Sugar Coffee Syrup adds warm cinnamon spice and caramel-like sweetness to your coffee.
Ingredients

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1–2 cinnamon sticks (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add brown sugar and water to a small saucepan. Stir in cinnamon sticks (or ground cinnamon) and a pinch of salt.
- Place over medium heat and stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and cook 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Avoid rapid boiling.)
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract if using.
- Let cool slightly. Remove cinnamon sticks. If using ground cinnamon, strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove sediment.
- Pour into a clean jar or bottle. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
- This syrup is great for lattes and cold brew.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
