Description

Creamy Mango Mousse (No Gelatin) is a refreshing, no-bake dessert perfect for summer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Heavy cream (Use cold for better whipping)
  • 2 cups Mangos (pureed) (Opt for ripe mangoes or thawed frozen mangoes)
  • 1/2 cup Powder sugar (Can be made by blending granulated sugar)
  • 1 package Vanilla instant pudding (Acts as a thickening agent)
  • 1/2 cup Reserved mango puree (For topping)
  • 1 cup Fresh fruit or berries (e.g., strawberries or blueberries)
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate shavings (Optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare mango puree: Peel ripe mangoes and blend them in a food processor until completely smooth. Set aside ½ cup of the puree for topping your mousse later.
  2. Whip cream mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine cold heavy cream, vanilla instant pudding, and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form; this should take about 3-4 minutes!
  3. Combine: Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream mixture using a spatula. Be careful to maintain that light, fluffy texture.
  4. Pipe mixture: Fill a piping bag with the luscious mousse and carefully pipe it into individual glass cups or dessert bowls.
  5. Chill: Cover the filled cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
  6. Serve: Top each mousse with the reserved mango puree and fresh fruit or berries before serving.
