Crispy Spicy Dragon Chicken is a flavorful dish that combines crispy fried chicken with a spicy sauce.

- 500 grams boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- Oil for frying
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1–2 green chilies, chopped (optional)
- 2–3 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Set up a breading station: In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, add the cornstarch.
- Dip each piece of marinated chicken first into the flour, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in cornstarch.
- In a deep pan or fryer, heat oil over medium-high heat. You’ll need enough oil to submerge the chicken.
- Once the oil is hot, fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pan, combine soy sauce, chili sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook over medium heat until well blended.
- If you like it spicy, add chopped green chilies to the sauce and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
- Toss the fried chicken in the spicy sauce until well coated.
- Transfer the chicken to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

- Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of chili sauce and green chilies.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
