Description

Fish Taco Sauce is the perfect creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy finishing touch for your seafood tacos.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for smokiness)
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons sriracha or hot sauce for heat
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey for a touch of sweetness

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Stir in lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add salt to taste. Stir in sriracha or hot sauce for spice, or honey for balance.
  4. Let the sauce rest in the fridge for 15–30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Drizzle over tacos or use as a dip for chips, veggies, or seafood.
