Description
The Honey Berry Kombucha Smash is a refreshing drink combining fresh blueberries and raspberries muddled with kombucha, honey, and ginger beer.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 12 ounce bottle kombucha (ginger or strawberry flavor recommended)
- 4 ounces ginger beer
- Fresh mint or basil leaves
Instructions
- Place the blueberries and honey in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until the blueberries burst and release their juices. Remove from heat and transfer to a jar or bowl.
- Add the fresh raspberries and about 1/2 cup of kombucha to the cooked blueberries. Muddle the mixture gently with the kombucha until the berries are somewhat smashed but still retain some texture.
- Fill two glasses with crushed ice to chill the drinks properly.
- Divide the smashed berry and kombucha mixture between the two glasses. Top each glass with additional kombucha, leaving a little space for the ginger beer.
- Pour ginger beer on top of each glass, then add a spoonful of the smashed berries mixture to the top. Garnish with fresh mint or basil leaves if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Experiment with different flavors of kombucha.
