- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1–2 jalapeños, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
- Burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, or your favorite sauce
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and finely chop the jalapeños.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat and add olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for added flavor.
- Once cooked, place the patties on the toasted buns. Add your desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and avocado.
