Description

Maple Pecan Glazed Salmon is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the sweetness of maple syrup with crunchy pecans.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and rub it in gently.
  5. Generously brush the maple glaze over each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Evenly distribute the chopped pecans on top of the glazed salmon, pressing them down gently so they stick.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. If desired, switch to the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze and pecans further.
  9. Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color before serving.
