Description
Maple Pecan Glazed Salmon is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines the sweetness of maple syrup with crunchy pecans.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon fillets and rub it in gently.
- Generously brush the maple glaze over each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Evenly distribute the chopped pecans on top of the glazed salmon, pressing them down gently so they stick.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- If desired, switch to the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes to caramelize the glaze and pecans further.
- Once done, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color before serving.
