Instructions

  1. Crack the egg into a microwave-safe bowl, then whisk it lightly. Cook the egg in the microwave for 1 minute until fully set.
  2. Split the English muffin in half. Remove the cooked egg from the microwave and place it on the bottom half of the muffin.
  3. Tear the slice of American cheese into two halves and place them criss-crossed over the egg.
  4. Place the top half of the English muffin over the cheese and egg to complete the sandwich.
  5. Preheat your toaster oven to 350°F. Place the sandwich on the toaster oven pan and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the top is slightly browned and the cheese has melted.
