- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring (liquid or gel)
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup (95 g) all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Set aside.

- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is just set but still slightly soft. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the pie cool on a rack for at least 1 hour before slicing.
- Once cooled, top with cream cheese frosting or a dusting of powdered sugar. Slice and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
