  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare beef: Slice steak into thin strips, cutting against the grain.
  2. Brown meat (optional): Sear strips in olive oil 1–2 minutes per side.
  3. Layer ingredients: Add beef, peppers, onions, and garlic to slow cooker.
  4. Mix sauce: Whisk broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and pepper. Pour into slow cooker.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low 6–7 hours or high 3–4 hours.
