Description

Bold & Creamy Spicy Rattlesnake Pasta is a rich, flavorful fusion of creamy Cajun sauce, tender chicken, and spicy peppers.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta (225g)
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 400g), sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 jalapeño, deseeded and finely sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50g)
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (50g)
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Extra Cajun seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun spice, salt, and pepper. Sauté in olive oil until golden and cooked through, 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic, bell peppers, and jalapeño; cook 3–4 minutes until tender.
  4. Lower heat to medium. Add heavy cream and stir. Mix in Parmesan and Monterey Jack until melted and creamy. Add red pepper flakes and more Cajun seasoning if desired.
  5. Return chicken and pasta to skillet. Toss everything to coat evenly in sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes to absorb flavors.
  6. Garnish with green onions or Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy!
