- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 4 cups water or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- In a medium pot, combine the jasmine rice and water (or chicken broth). Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or until the rice is fluffy and the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered.
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. This will be your marinade and glaze.
- Marinate the Chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and place them in a shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally.
- Add the Glaze: Pour the remaining marinade over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken and become sticky.
- Fluff the Rice: While the chicken is finishing, fluff the cooked rice with a fork.
- Assemble the Bowls: Divide the rice evenly among bowls. Top each bowl with the sticky chicken and drizzle any remaining glaze from the skillet.
- Garnish: Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the top for added flavor and presentation.
