Description

This easy sugar cookie fudge recipe combines the flavors of sugar cookies and creamy fudge. It features a crunchy cookie crumb base topped with a smooth white chocolate fudge layer mixed with frosted cookie chunks and holiday sprinkles. It’s a perfect no-bake treat for Christmas or other holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Crunchy Cookie Base:
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed sugar cookies
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • For the Fudge Layer:
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped frosted sugar cookies
  • 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles
  • Extra cookie bits and sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine crushed sugar cookies, melted butter, and granulated sugar if using. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the cookie mixture evenly into the bottom of a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden. Set aside to cool completely.
  5. In a saucepan over low heat or a microwave-safe bowl using 30-second intervals, melt the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter together, stirring frequently until smooth and glossy.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, almond extract if using, and salt. Mix well.
  7. Gently fold in the chopped frosted sugar cookies and holiday sprinkles. Stir just until combined to prevent sprinkles from bleeding.
  8. Pour the fudge mixture over the cooled crust. Use a spatula to spread it into an even layer.
  9. While the fudge is still soft, sprinkle additional chopped sugar cookies and sprinkles evenly over the top. Lightly press them in.
  10. Transfer the pan to the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours, or until fully set.
  11. Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment overhang and cut into clean, even squares.

Notes

  • Use store-bought frosted sugar cookies for convenience or homemade for extra flavor.
  • For best slicing, use a sharp knife cleaned between cuts.
  • Fudge can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week or frozen for up to 1 month.
