Description

Sweet Chili Chicken is an amazing dish that combines tender chicken with a flavorful sweet chili sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Stir in the sliced bell pepper, carrot, and broccoli florets. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  7. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
