  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise until doubled.
  2. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter evenly, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll dough tightly from both long sides toward the center. Slice and gently pinch the bottom of each piece to form a heart shape.
  4. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake until puffed and golden.
  5. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
