Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 2 cups diced apples (peeled and cored)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced apples, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well to coat the apples evenly.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pie crusts. Use a round cutter or a glass to cut out circles, approximately 4-5 inches in diameter.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the apple mixture in the center of each pie crust circle. Drizzle a small amount of caramel sauce on top of the apples.
  5. Carefully fold the edges of the pie crust over the filling to create a pocket. Pinch the edges together to seal, ensuring there are no openings.
  6. Place the filled bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
